A reminder of our 2024 event
The Whatuni Student Choice Awards (the WUSCAs) 2025 will be returning to the Brewery London on Wednesday 21st May 2025! The WUSCAs is the only higher education awards ceremony in the UK where institutions are judged and reviewed by students themselves across various categories.
This annual event is a celebration of the student voice and the hard work of higher education providers across the UK to deliver exceptional student experiences.
At previous WUSCAs, illustrious and well-known comedians and personalities have graced the stage, including Sir Lenny Henry CBE, Ellie Taylor and Katherine Ryan.

We’re thrilled to announce that Alexander Armstrong will be hosting the 2025 Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs)! |
A beloved figure in British entertainment, Alexander is best known as a comedian, actor, and host of the hit quiz show Pointless on BBC1. His wit, charm, and engaging personality have made him a favourite on Have I Got News for You and as part of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller.

After 12 months, the Review Collection for the WUSCA 2025 Campaign has officially closed. Over the course of this period, we collected 36,800 reviews from students across the UK, with 100+ institutions participating.
The student reviews gathered from institutions nationwide form the foundation of the Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs), helping determine which universities are shortlisted and, ultimately, who wins the awards – all driven by the student voice.
For universities looking to gain a head start in the next campaign for 2026 review collection, you can share this digital review form with your students via email, social media, and other platforms. If you’d like further details, feel free to get in touch with us at wusca.support@idp.com.
Shortlisted institutions will be announced late March/early April, with the winners revealed on the night of the WUSCAs, 21 May 2025.
