A reminder of our 2024 event

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards (the WUSCAs) 2025

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards (the WUSCAs) 2025 will be returning to the Brewery London on Wednesday 21st May 2025! The WUSCAs is the only higher education awards ceremony in the UK where institutions are judged and reviewed by students themselves across various categories.

This annual event is a celebration of the student voice and the hard work of higher education providers across the UK to deliver exceptional student experiences.

At previous WUSCAs, illustrious and well-known comedians and personalities have graced the stage, including Sir Lenny Henry CBE, Ellie Taylor and Katherine Ryan. We look forward to announcing and welcoming our 2025 host to illuminate the WUSCAs stage!

Gain deep student insights with Review Collection

Review Collection officially kicks off September 2024 and will run through to early 2025. The student reviews collected from institutions across the UK form the foundation of the WUSCAs Awards, determining which universities are shortlisted, all driven by the student voice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the student voice to be heard, gain insight into what truly matters to students, and ultimately enhance student satisfaction in the upcoming year.

The WUSCAs Submission-based Award: Mental Health and Wellbeing support

Mental health and wellbeing are increasingly recognised as vital concerns, both in society at large and on a personal level. This is especially true for university students, who often face unique challenges during their academic journey. This year's WUSCAs Submission-based Award focuses on this vital topic – Mental Health and Wellbeing Support – to recognise universities that demonstrate outstanding commitment to prioritising mental health and wellbeing by creating inclusive, supportive environments, foster meaningful relationships, and implement effective initiatives to address the mental health needs of their student communities.

If you would like your institution to be considered for this category, please read the terms and conditions – specifically terms 6.2 – to find out how to apply. All submissions should be sent to the following email: wusca.submission@idp.com.

Please note: the Submission Based Award application period closes on Friday 28 February 2025.
