Derek Lemieux is the Director, Strategic Partnerships and Head of UNEVOC Centre at Bow Valley College located in Calgary, Alberta. He is an innovative leader committed to advancing strategic goals, and award-winning senior manager and mentor with experience leading teams delivering results within K-12, post-secondary and government. For organizations, he ensures outcomes to strengthen brand, competitive and financial positions. He has over 10 years’ experience leading broad-scale long-term strategies through collaboration with and active participation in internal management councils and external international bodies.

He holds a Business Administration – Marketing Diploma from Algonquin College, Bachelor of Arts from University of Ottawa, Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University and Instructional Design Graduate Certificate from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
