Livia Castellanos is a recognized leader in international education, with over 25 years of experience across Canadian universities, government, and the private sector. As Vice President of External Affairs for Canada at IDP Education, she leads strategic engagement and advocacy efforts with provincial associations, governments, and stakeholders to support international education across the country. Before joining IDP, Livia held senior leadership roles at Navitas North America and with the Government of Saskatchewan, where she was responsible for developing and implementing the province’s International Education Strategy. She also chaired the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC). Originally from Mexico, Livia brings a deep personal passion for international education and currently resides in Regina, Saskatchewan.
