IDP insights at the Higher Education Marketing Conference 2025, 1st July, 3.30 pm

Amandeep Aulakh, Associate Head of Client Partnerships – UK Domestic, and Jon Montgomerie, Associate Head of Client Success – UK, will be sharing fresh insights into the expectations and experiences of UK domestic offer holders in their session, "The Expectations and Experience of Offer Holders: New Insights from IDP" at 3.30 pm on the Main stage.

While much attention is given to how students decide to apply to university, less focus is placed on their experiences after receiving an offer. This session will delve into the expectations, needs, and experiences of UK domestic offer holders, with a particular emphasis on the "choice window" - the period between receiving an offer and making a firm decision. During this time, student expectations evolve, and effective university communications can significantly influence their choices.

Attendees will gain insights into the information students require to finalise their firm and insurance choices, as well as communication strategies that maintain engagement, build excitement, and reduce the likelihood of reconsideration. Drawing from the latest Offer Holder Survey, IDP will explore how institutions can better support students at this pivotal stage, ultimately leading to stronger conversion outcomes in an increasingly competitive landscape.

This session offers valuable insights for institutions aiming to enhance their engagement with offer holders and improve conversion rates.
